Selecting dependencies for a route and or session
Posted by N3V Games (Paul) on 03 August 2015 05:08 PM

Builtin content from TS12 does not import directly into TANE - you need to download those items from the DLS (which we are in the process of updating).

To import other content (i.e that you have created or downloaded from the DLS or other sites), you need to select those items and all the non-builtin dependencies in TS12

Since you cannot import built-in items from TS12 directly, you need to filter out those items first. Follow these steps to prepare your assets for importing into T:ANE:

  1. In TS12 Content Manager, type the name of the route or item you wish to export into the Search field
  2. Select the item in the main window and use Ctrl-E to open the item for edit
  3. Drag the Open for Edit item to the pick list window
  4. R-click > "Add all local dependencies"
  5. Select all new items in the pick list (Ctrl-A) and R-click > "Add all local dependencies"
  6. Repeat this until no new items items are added
  7. Select all items in pick list (Ctrl-A) then R-click and “View in main list”
  8. This list now contains all the dependencies, and from this list we now need to remove the built-ins (if you are exporting to TANE)
  9. In the Search filter, check all the assets showing in the main window are now listed in your search filter.
  10. Click the ‘+’ to add another search filter and choose Builtin = False, then "Apply" to remove the built-ins.

You now have the list of assets ready to import into T:ANE

To follow a step by step guide to import these assets into T:ANE follow the additional steps shown in this article
