Some DLC packs show 'purchased', what does this mean?
Posted by N3V Games (Zec) on 26 May 2022 05:23 PM

The 'install'/'uninstall' button shows 'Purchased'

In the current version of TRS22, some DLC packs that aren't available for download may show 'purchased' instead of a price or 'install' in the Content Store. This indicates that the DLC pack is one that is included within the TRS22 installation, but is not available as a separate download.

This bug will be resolved in a future update for TRS22, which is currently in development.

The DLC shows 'Purchased' when viewing the details

If you see 'Purchased' when viewing the details for a DLC pack (ie after double clicking a DLC pack, or after right clicking a DLC and clicking 'view details'), this is a known bug that may occur with DLC packs you don't currently own. You can double check if you own a specific DLC pack by following these steps:

1) First, make a note of the ID number for the DLC pack (shown on the left side of the view details window under 'ID'; it will look something like 'simc:1234' or 'steam:1234567')

2) Now open the Trainz Settings by clicking on 'Trainz Settings' on the launch window

3) Click on the 'Dev' tab

4) Tick the option for 'Enable advanced debug tools'

5) Restart Trainz (ie close all Trainz windows, then open Trainz again)

6) Click on 'Developer' at the top of the initial launch window

7) Click on 'Show authorised DRM resources'

This list will then show all resources/packages that your account has access to. If the DLC pack you were looking at is not shown, then this means that you will need to purchase it to be able to access that DLC pack.

You can then turn off the advanced debug tools by following steps 2-5 again, but instead untick the option for 'Enable advanced debug tools'.

This bug will be resolved in a future update for TRS22, which is currently in development.
