How to update your localisation file

Trainz uses a localisation file which provides localised translations into various languages. It is possible to manually override the exiting translations by updating the files. These steps are recommended only for people comfortable with using Windows Explorer or Finder on Mac. Editing your localisation file:
Reverting your localisation file: (Required prior to patching)
NOTE: Once the patch has been run, there may be changes or addition to various strings. Therefore we DO NOT recommend that you simply re-use your oldupdate file. TRS19 SP5 Temporary fix To temporarily update your TRS19 SP5 build, you just need to make a backup of your current /strings folder and replace it with the new one linked below.
FINAL NOTE: You will need to revert your /strings folder to the original prior to applying any future patches.
