NEW HELPDESK REQUIREMENTS

To ensure we can provide quality, timely responses to as many customers as possible, we have made some changes to the helpdesk support service.

  1. We will only support tickets submitted in English. Please use an online translation tool to translate your messages.
  2. We will assist users with problems related to orders, downloading, installation or access only.
  3. Any questions about general product usage will be referred to our community forums, Trainz wiki and Knowledgebase articles.
If your ticket does not meet these requirements, you will receive a standard response informing you of the new requirements.

How do I access my Content Vault content packs/DLC packs?

To access the DLC packs included in the Content Vault feature of the Gold or Silver memberships, you will need to first claim the DLC pack you would like by following these steps:

  1. Go to http://www.auran.com/
  2. Click on MyTrainz, and then log in if required
  3. Click on My Memberships on the left hand menu
  4. Click on Manage Content Vault

You will then see an option to 'claim' each DLC pack, click on this to claim the DLC pack.

 

For TANE & TRS19

The DLC pack will then automatically appear for download when you next start Trainz. However, if this does not occur automatically, then please follow these steps:

  1. Click on 'File' on the Trainz launcher screen (this is the screen with 'start trainz', 'manage content', etc on it)
  2. Click on 'Download Purchased Items', and then click on 'ok' on the message that appears.
  3. Now click on 'Start Trainz' on the launcher screen
  4. When Trainz starts, you should see a window appear in Trainz with a list of available downloads. Please click on 'download all' to download the DLC pack.

 

For the TRS19 Platinum Edition, and latest Trainz Plus editions

You will now be able to install your new content packages via the new content store feature by following these steps:

1) Double click on the TRS19 icon on your desktop
2) Click on 'Content Store'
3) Click on 'Purchased' at the top right
4) Click on the 'Install' button to the right of the DLC pack you wish to install
