NEW HELPDESK REQUIREMENTS

To ensure we can provide quality, timely responses to as many customers as possible, we have made some changes to the helpdesk support service.

  1. We will only support tickets submitted in English. Please use an online translation tool to translate your messages.
  2. We will assist users with problems related to orders, downloading, installation or access only.
  3. Any questions about general product usage will be referred to our community forums, Trainz wiki and Knowledgebase articles.
If your ticket does not meet these requirements, you will receive a standard response informing you of the new requirements.

Installing Trainz Plus

This guide will help you install Trainz Plus using the Online Installer which can be downloaded from your MyTrainz account page.

Step 1:
Once you download the installer, double click on the .exe to run the installer.

 

If the Microsoft security message appears, choose Install anyway

Step 2:
You will be installing the latest version of TRS19 (Trainz Plus)

Step 3:
Change the install location and name if desired.

Step 4:
Enter the MyTrainz username and password you used to claim or purchase the product.

Step 5:
Choose the "Trainz Plus" Stream

 

Step 6:

The download and installation process will commence.



The time to download will depend on your internet connection, routing to our nearest server, and the number of connections at the time you are downloading.

Please be patient while the download continues and use the Retry option if it does fail for any reason.

Step 7: 
Once installed, Click Trainz Settings > Internet tab to enter your MyTrainz username and password.



Step 8:
You're now ready to explore the world of Trainz. Click Start Trainz and if you're new to Trainz we suggest choosing the "Learn to Drive" option first.

Step 9:
Note that the additional routes included in Trainz Plus can be downloaded from Content Store > Purchased > then select each route you would like to install.
