Installer shows Copying Payload Data
Posted by N3V Games (Zec) on 23 April 2018 01:41 PM

When installing the TANE or TRS19 PC edition from the DVD or USB key or offline digital download installer, the installer will show "Copying Payload Data'. This process copies the installer files to your hard drive to then install Trainz.

This may take a little time, depending on your computer. Generally it should not take longer than 5-10 minutes.

Please ensure that there is plenty of space on your C:\ drive.

If installing Trainz to C:\ drive (i.e. to the default location), then you will need at least 30GB of free space.

If installing Trainz to another location, then you will need at least 5-10GB of free space on C:\ drive (plus at least 16GB of free space on the drive Trainz is being installed to).
